I’m currently looking for a newly qualified/ band 5 speech and language therapist to join a specialist school in Sunderland. Here you’ll be supporting 5-19 year olds with ADHD, Autism, SEMH and SLCN
As a member of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, you will collaborate with educational and residential staff to create therapeutic living and learning environments. Guided by clinical assessments and formulations, you will deliver tailored interventions and support to the young people.
In addition, you will assess the young people’s mental health needs and suggest suitable interventions within individualised care plans. Developing strong rapport is essential, as it enables you to provide meaningful counselling and offer insight into their progress.
